Behaviour Support Careers

Join the team making inclusion possible for all Australians.

Be a Behaviour Support Change Maker

Our behaviour support practitioners are curious about behaviours and understanding why people use challenging behaviours. They are occupational therapists, mental health nurses, registered nurses, psychologists, social workers, behavioural/social scientists or Social Science and developmental educators who work to change attitudes, expectations and outcomes so that people with disability can live a much better life.

When you join Everyday Independence as a behaviour support practitioner, you’ll work in teams with fellow practitioners and habit coaches, while supported to harness your empathy and clinical passion to become a future-fit, social model therapist.

Our behaviour support practitioners can opt-in to boost their base salary, participate in our social initiative program, all while tapping into an array of learning and support opportunities.

What do our Behaviour Support Practitioners do?

Our behaviour support practitioners play a vital role in helping people get great outcomes from their NDIS funded therapy services.

As social model behaviour support practitioners, they work out in the community, the Everyday Way, in the places participants spend their time, across ages and life stages.

An interdisciplinary team approach, use of evidence-based tools and habit coaches all combine to enable clinical growth and impactful outcomes for the people they support.
