Positive Change Push: South Western Sydney Celebrates IDPwD!

Thanks to the Positive Change Push, our South Western Sydney team, in collaboration with Beyond Fun and APM, hosted two remarkable events to celebrate International Day of People with Disability on December 3rd, 2024.

A Day of Celebration and Connection

The day kicked off with a participant party, a vibrant and inclusive celebration where participants and their families could connect, enjoy themselves, and create lasting memories. The lively atmosphere was set off with face painting, delicious food, and festive cheer.

Later in the afternoon at the provider networking event, providers gathered to exchange ideas, share experiences, and discuss innovative ways to enhance participant outcomes. The session fostered meaningful connections and strengthened relationships among local service providers.

Embracing Diversity and Belonging

The day was a true celebration of inclusivity, community, and connection. Participants and their families embraced the opportunity to enjoy fun activities, unwind and share laughter, while providers strengthened their relationships and explored new ways to support their participants and their families. The events highlighted the importance of community connections, and celebrating the contributions and abilities of every individual.
