Change Maker Awards

In December, our change makers gathered for our end of year huddle where we celebrated our inaugural Everyday Independence Change Maker Awards.

The annual Change Maker Awards are a celebration of the game changers, inspirers, simplifiers and change champions among us. Spanning five categories aligned in our core values—Change the Game, One Team with Purpose, Inspire with Belief, Simplify and Go, and Champion the Person—these awards honour colleagues making an extraordinary impact.

These peer-nominated awards have provided us all the opportunity to shine a spotlight on those who are making great impact.

Our Change Maker Award winners for 2024 are:

  • Christina Pharazyn (Occupational Therapist – Team Lead and Therapy Mentor, Southern Perth Hub, WA) – Change The Game: Change Maker- The Highest Honour
  • NSW Admin Team – One Team With Purpose: Most Impactful Team
  • Ella Wood (Speech Pathologist – Therapy Mentor – Team Leader, Maitland Hub, NSW) – Inspire With Belief: Greatest Impact on Participant
  • Kelly Tan (Speech Pathologist – Mentor, Inner Eastern Melbourne Hub, VIC) – Simplify and Go: Innovation Improvement Award
