Continue ReadingAs expected, the NDIS has published its 2022-23 pricing arrangements early this week, and Everyday Independence has been reviewing and responding to these. Pleasingly there are no major impacts, and we have provided details of what has and has not changed below.
There are no pricing changes to your client’s Everyday Independence services.
Although the NDIS cancellation policy has changed, we will not change our cancellation policy at this time. Your clients can still cancel their appointments, at no charge, with 48 hours’ (2 days) notification.
All Everyday Independence practitioners have the required clinical qualifications to deliver services to your clients. We have and always will be committed to providing them with qualified people who are equipped to support them to achieve their goals.
If your client has a current Service Agreement with us, there will be no changes to their service(s) or billing.
Any new Service Agreements created from the 1st of July 2022, for general therapies only, will be subject to minor changes in appearance. These will have no impact on the service delivery or billing; however, our systems will need to be updated to align with the changes. Specifically, where there was once one line item to bill for Occupational Therapy and Speech Pathology, individual therapy line items have now been added so that each general therapy has its own line item.
Please note there are no changes to Early Childhood Intervention or Behaviour Support services. New Service Agreements for these services will continue to be created and billed for as they currently are.
We are working quickly to update our systems and to minimise delays in processing new Service Agreements for general therapies. We appreciate and kindly request your patience during this process.
