Continue ReadingFrom 1 July 2023, Everyday Independence will be instating a Provider Travel – non-labour cost, in line with the NDIS price guide.
Everyday Independence has always charged for the time it takes to travel in line with the NDIS guidelines and will continue to do so. In the NDIS 2020/2021 price guide, a Provider Travel non-labour cost of 97c per km was introduced to allow providers to charge for the distance travelled to and from sessions. However, Everyday Independence chose not to pass this on to its participants, while many smaller providers did.
From 1 July 2023, this additional travel component will be instated, and participants will be billed based on the following:
