Business Development Partner – Western Melbourne

Your New Role – Business Development Partner
Location – Western Melbourne 
Salary – $39 – $44 per hour

  • Newly created role, reporting to Western Melbourne Area Lead

Business Development Partner is a key role within the operational team with responsibility for driving new NDIS participant referrals across our Western Melbourne hub. Working closely with the central marketing team, you’ll implement local marketing initiatives to increase awareness of Everyday Independence services for NDIS participants and drive referral enquiries.

Working alongside practitioners operating from these hubs, you’ll ensure new referrals are booked into calendars efficiently and the participant experience is a positive one as they commence their therapy journey with Everyday Independence.

As well as nurturing existing referrer relationships to ensure a steady pipeline of participant referrals, you’ll identify new areas and opportunities to build our presence across the Western Melbourne area, with a clear focus on financial targets and KPI’s. This will involve conducting weekly outreach to new contacts, attending relevant events and expos, face to face meetings to build and cement referrer relationships, as well as researching & optimising speaker opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in securing and building business in line with financial targets in a consumer or B to B environment. With strong written and verbal communication skills, you’re a natural relationship builder and self-starter with the ability to proactively get the information & support you need to hit the ground running.

What do you need to be successful? 

  • Degree in Business, Marketing or equivalent
  • Demonstrated experience in sales, customer management and/or marketing
  • Highly developed business development skills
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of stakeholders
  • Able to work within a compliance and regulatory framework
  • Previous administration experience
  • Experience of working in the health sector is desirable but not essential
  • Willing to obtain Working with Children’s Check & NDIS Workers Screening Check
  • Australian driver’s license
