$110,000 – $130,000 + super + leave loading + phone and laptop + PD budget (salary depending on experience)

As our People Partner, your everyday will involve nurturing our vibrant culture by championing our core values and working with leaders on engaging and retaining their team members. You’ll be the go-to person for leaders seeking assistance with employment issues or queries.
You’ll be responsible for the annual performance and remuneration review process. You’ll partner with the People and Culture Administration team who are responsible for developing and implementing people policies, position descriptions, contracts, reporting and compliance.
Additionally, you’ll be instrumental in managing health, safety and wellbeing for the organisation and partnering with our parent company on facilitating employees’ return to work where necessary.
Furthermore, you’ll collaborate with our dedicated People team to prepare insightful HR analytics and statistics for reporting to the Board and Leadership team.

Your Everyday
If you were here last week, these are some of the things you would have done:
- Work with the Leadership Team through the regular performance and remuneration review processes to drive a high performance, values-based culture
- Assist leaders in leading change within their areas, including structural change
- Act as a contact point to the Leadership and Talent Acquisition teams concerning the interpretation of workplace agreements and other relevant legislation pertaining to industrial relations
- Nurture EI’s culture by promoting EI’s values and through engagement activities
- Assist team members with employment issues or concerns and respond to queries
- Lead and implement projects and initiatives arising out of the People & Culture Strategic Plan
- Lead and implement projects conducted of a cyclical nature, including the Annual Performance & Salary Review
- With the assistance of the People team, prepare statistics and HR analytics for the purpose of reporting to the Board and Leadership Team
- Other duties in line with the People & Culture team’s priorities as may be assigned from time to time

To be considered for this role you’ll need:
- Degree in Human Resource Management or similar and relevant experience
- Prior HR experience within a medium-large, multi – site national organisation as a HR advisor or People Partner
- Experience in coaching team leaders on people leadership and management best practice principles, initiatives and processes
- Experience interpreting individual employment agreements, awards and other relevant legislation
- Experience leading investigations and disciplinary processes
- Strong emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills to enable the delivery of independent advice to staff at all levels with kindness, fairness, sensitivity, consideration, tact and discretion
