Living with a disability through adolescence can be stressful and frustrating for both parents and teenagers. Everyday Independence developmental educators support teenagers aged between 13 – 18 years to develop the life skills and confidence to better manage their everyday life and alleviate the pressure on their families.
They’ll deliver support in daily tasks such as using public transport, cooking, personal care, budgeting, time management, self-advocacy, communicating needs and preferences, social interactions, and planning for their future.
