Our team is taking a break from Friday 5 pm, 20 December to Thursday 8 am, 2 January. Wishing you a joyful and safe festive season.

Physiotherapy

Our physiotherapists support you at every step, whether it’s building independence, enhancing your wellbeing, facilitating access to places and activities, or helping you through life’s transitions.

How Physiotherapy Delivers More

Our physiotherapists aren’t your everyday physios! They support you in your community as part of a broader team that may include speech pathologists, occupational therapists, behaviour support practitioners, and habit coaches, all practising in a neurodiversity-affirming way.

Because the best way to bring positive change is by looking at your whole life and engaging a team with the right understanding and skills to help you make the changes that really matter to you.

Our physios aren’t your everyday physios!

Our physiotherapists help children and adults achieve many life-changing outcomes and life transitions including:

  • Improving mobility, strength, flexibility, endurance and fitness to enjoy everyday activities
  • Building skills and confidence to do things independently such as dressing, self-care, preparing meals
  • Enhancing mental health and wellbeing with increased physical activity
  • Learning to use public transport
  • Managing pain or symptoms of your condition or disability
  • Connecting to the outside world with social media.
  • Supporting transition to school, university or a new job
  • Improving quality of life and social connectedness
  • Accessing recreation, team sports, school PE lessons or the local gym
  • Learning to manage change to everyday routines
  • Prescribing mobility equipment to help you stand, walk or move around at home and community more independently
  • Assessing and prescribing assistive technology.

We’re Ready to Get you Started

To get started with physiotherapy our disability practitioner comes to your home to get to know you, your family and other members of your support team. They take a whole of life approach to set you on your pathway to positive change.
