Where will my therapy services be held?
Your therapy sessions will be delivered in the places where you spend your time – such as home, school, work, or community settings. This can help you learn and practice skills in real-world environments and enables the physiotherapist to identify barriers holding you back from achieving your goals
What is assistive technology?
Assistive technology (AT) includes products, systems, devices, and technologies used by people with disability to achieve greater independence, reduce support needs and increase participation in their community.
Our physiotherapists work closely with the individual and their support network to get the right fit for their activities and environments. They assess the person’s abilities and challenges, trial different options, and write a report to request the required NDIS funding for the recommended technology. They also provide training and support to ensure the person can use the technology safely and appropriately.
