Positive Change Push: Central Adelaide

Our social impact initiative, The Positive Change Push, enables our team members to extend their impact and fund activities that promote greater inclusion within our communities.

Our Central Adelaide change makers had the game-changing idea of donating backpacks and resources to Backpacks 4 SA Kids, an Adelaide-based company coordinating donations to vulnerable children and families.

Team Central Adelaide included resources in the backpacks to support disadvantaged kids’ day-to-day school life, including stationery, lunch boxes and sunscreen.

In late August, the team collaborated as one team with purpose, working hard to pack the backpacks and having a lot of fun in the process! Last Thursday, 7 September, Team Leader Sinead was thrilled to be able to present the donations to Backpacks 4 SA Kids.

Dropping off the backpacks was such an impactful moment, Backpacks 4 SA Kids were so grateful. They shared that the backpacks would be an incredible support for children who have experienced trauma and domestic violence. Our hope is that the items donated will support kids in need and give them a great chance to shine in the classroom.
