Four-year-old Sebby is an energetic child who loves playing with his toy cars and trains, especially at daycare.
Sebby’s parents chose Everyday Independence to support his development with NDIS early childhood supports (early childhood intervention services) to help Sebby with everyday activities.
A Team Approach for Positive Change
Sebby’s therapy team includes his key worker Keren, who has a degree in early childhood development, a speech pathologist, and a physiotherapist. With a team-based approach, the therapists all work together with him.
Keren also worked closely with his mum, dad and teachers so they could confidently meet Sebby’s needs in a range of different environments and everyday situations.
As Sebby’s key worker, I’m excited to support Sebby through all his transitions throughout his early childhood.
Keren, Key Worker
Our team-based model involves key workers coordinating services from speech pathologists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, positive behaviour support practitioners and habit coaches. This approach helps children make the most of their NDIS funding to achieve positive, meaningful progress.
