As a Developmental Educator, you’ll support participants and their networks to build new skills and positive habits. Your role will address the barriers that get in the way of participants’ well-being, participation and independence, working closely with an interdisciplinary team including allied health assistants.
You’ll take on the role of a social model practitioner, helping people overcome barriers that limit their engagement and opportunities. Using evidence-based practices, you’ll recommend tailored supports, therapy strategies, and interventions to improve participants’ quality of life.
