Your Supports

Let’s explore the ways you are supported!

How We Support and Supervise You

We get it — transitioning from university to practice can be challenging, and we’re here to guide you every step of the way. The structured Everyday Flying Start program is designed to help you navigate this shift, providing comprehensive support and supervision to ensure you thrive. Expect to learn how to drive real change for NDIS participants while being part of a collaborative, change-making team. You’ll benefit from industry-leading in-house training and a $1000 professional development budget to tailor your learning experience.

Who Supports You

In your first week you’ll meet your same discipline 1:1 clinical supervisor, who provides support through shadowing, clinical supervision, and regular check-ins throughout the duration of the program. Outside clinical matters, your supervisor will connect you with your broader support network, which includes your team leader, career coaches, and fellow team members.

When We Support You

During your first four weeks, we provide a comprehensive induction to help build your foundations of interdisciplinary practice. You’ll join in live learning via Microsoft Teams, self-directed study, and team collaboration. You can access Everyday Therapy Mentoring four days a week for expert advice and support and participate in monthly Communities of Practice for collaborative learning and problem-solving. Additionally, you can book Career Coaching sessions to map out your career path.
